The Indira Gandhi National and Open University (IGNOU) conduct the Term End Examination in every six months i.e. in June & December. The IGNOU result is declared within 45 days as well after the exam process gets completed.

For Bachelor Degree programmes, IGNOU passing marks for theory are

IGNOU is passing marks in Projects For project submission
students need to attain a minimum of 50% marks for the completion. Or else they need to resubmit it.
Passing marks in IGNOU Assignment
Along with theory, it is also very much important to get passing marks in Tutor Marked Assignments (TMA). Assignment in IGNOU constitute 30% marks out of total marks for any course.
Students have to obtain a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 in assignments for Bachelor Degree program….
Similarly for Master Degree program, students have to obtain a minimum of 40 marks out of 100 in assignments.
