APPOINTMENT OF THE CANDIDATES
The selections under this advertisement notification shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Jammu and Kashmir Appointment to Class IV (Special Recruitment) Rules,2020 as notified vide S.O. 184 of 04.06.2020 read with S.O. 193 dated: 17.06.2020
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
As per S.O. 184 of 04.06.2020 read with SRO 99 of 2008 dated: 07.04.2008, the Minimum and Maximum qualification for appointment to Class-IV posts under Direct Recruitment shall be “Minimum Matric and maximum 10+2
Any candidate having his/her qualification other than prescribed shall not be eligible for Class-IV posts
The candidates figuring in Annexure “A to W” to this notice have been provisionally shortlisted in the ratio of 1:4 for Counselling-cum Document Verification on the basis of final score/merit i.e (Written Test + additional points as per SO 184 dated 04-06-2020) calculated on the basis of information furnished by the candidates at the time of filling of application from.
It may be noted that mere figuring in Provisional shortlist will not entitle any candidates to be included in the Selection List/Wait List
The candidates figuring in the Provisional Shortlist be called, in the numbers as will be deemed necessary, to appear before the Counselling Cum Document Verification Committee, on the dates which shall be notified, separately, by J&K SSB
Certificate/Documents on formats to be prescribed, in case additional points have been assigned to the candidates as per SO 184 dated 04-06-2020. If candidates claimed /failed to produce the document/certificate in support of his/her claim for additional weightage/points, the Board shall deduct additional weightage /points from his/her merit and make corresponding changes in the final shortlist with out any further notice
In case of candidates claiming possession of equivalent educational qualification, it shall be mandatory to produce relevant Equivalence Certificate from the concerned authorities at the time of Document Verification
( i) An Undertaking in the shape of an Affidavit to the effect that
(a) He/she is possessing the minimum qualification of Matric and Maximum of 10+2 and he/she is not possessing the higher qualification than that is prescribed for the post
(b) If at any stage of the selection or later on, it has been found that he/she is possessing the higher qualification than that is prescribed for the post, than his/her candidature shall be cancelled ab-initio, without service of any notice to him/her and he/she shall have no claim for the post
The shortlisting of the candidates under Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories shall be notified separately
